Commissioner of Police, Clayton Fernander provided an update on the investigation into the murder of a man on the island of Grand Bahama. The body of the man, wearing an ankle monitor, was discovered on May 16th at a construction site.
Commissioner Fernander confirmed that four persons are in custody in connection with the murder. He said, “they have four adult males in custody at this present time are being questioned reference to that matter. We expect some closure within this week.”
The victim was unofficially identified as a Jamaican national on bail in The Bahamas for armed robbery. Authorities are awaiting the arrival of the deceased family for formal identification.
