A man appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Debbie Ferguson to answer to charges of stealing from the Disaster Reconstruction Authority.
Cory Wallace, 42, is accused of stealing solar batteries, electrical wire, solar panels, a solar light lamp, solar pole arms and fiberglass resin valued at $12,100.77. Wallace was also accused of stealing decker batteries and solar panels worth $2,200.
Given the choice for his matters to be heard in the Magistrates’ or the Supreme Court, Wallace opted to be heard before the Magistrates’ Court and pled not guilty to the charges.
Deputy Chief Magistrate Ferguson set bail at $1,800. Wallace is expected back in court on May 24th.
