Kids in the Marathon constituency had a Back to School Foam Splash Party they won’t soon forget. Scores of youngsters were bussed to the Grace Community greenspace for a fun day with their MP.
Mega wet slides, foam pools and games were the highlight of an afternoon filled with fun. Kids also received food, party bags and backpacks with back to school supplies when they attended the party on Thursday, August 14, 2025.
Rahming took the time to visit residents in her community door to door, handing out redeemable vouchers for school supplies and other gifts to the children.
Most importantly, she left them with a message: “Your education is critical to your success. Set goals for the new school year and work every day towards achieving them. Your parents and family, church and community groups, the Urban Renewal office, and my constituency office here in Marathon are here to help you! Just believe in yourself – I believe in you!”
She told the kids that she was raised in Marathon and played on the same streets they do. She knows their struggles and challenges, and she said education is what charted her path to success.
