A welcome ceremony was held on March 5, 2026 at Pelican Bay Conference Room to officially open the third Annual Bahamas National High School Leadership Conference and Pageant.
Under the theme, “Creating a Legacy of Excellence in Leadership,” students representing various high schools throughout The Bahamas gathered for the event, which serves as a platform to promote leadership and personal development among the nation’s youth.
Minister for Grand Bahama, the Hon. Ginger Moxey delivered brief remarks, encouraging the students to embrace the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, make meaningful connections and represent their respective schools with pride.
“Believe in yourselves. Seize this opportunity to learn and let your passion shine through. You are the future of The Bahamas and your potential is limitless,” she said.
The event will culminate on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at the Regency Theatre, featuring the official pageant competition and crowning of the 2026 titleholders.
