Family members of Jarred Evans, who was shot and killed early on Whit Monday, are speaking out.
Evans’ mother, Chenell Rolle told ZNS News she needs answers. “I’m hurting, bad. I can’t sit down and know my son got killed innocently and I can’t say how and why.”
Evans spent his last evening alive with his fiance, Ciara McKenzie who described him as a hardworking, family man. She said, “we already go our own apartment, our place to stay and we were just going to level up from there.”
Before Evans lost his life he and McKenzie rode ATVs and visited the Fish Fry at Arawak Cay, Envy Lounge and Tipsy’s Bar where the incident took place.
The victims brother, Gary Russell, was visibly distraught as he described his love for his brother. He said, “I love my brother. He tell me he love me, he would never leave me and that was that after that.”
Evans’ mother appealed to the public to come forward with any information about the incident.
