Vice Chairman of the Bahamas Christian Council Pastor Mario Moxey gave a preview of the event before it got underway. He said, “tonight’s event is extremely important. This is an opportunity for us to collectively come together as a citizenry and pray in harmony and unity for one purpose and one purpose only, its for God’s intervention in our nation at this time to stop the flow of crime that’s happening at the very beginning of this year.”
Moxey also outlined some of the areas that members of the public can focus on in prayer. “We’re gonna be focusing on a number of prayer points throughout the night and as we go through each prayer point we want you to join in wherever you are in this nation, wherever you are around the world and lock arms of faith with us an believe God for our families, our men, our women, our children, our institutions.”
