The National Honour of the Order of Excellence was conferred upon Secretary of the Commonwealth of Nations, the Rt. Hon. Baroness Patricia Scotland by Governor General, HE the Most Hon. Dame Cynthia Pratt, in ceremonies at Government House on Sunday, December 1, 2024. Prime Minister and Minister of Finance the Hon. Philip Davis gave Remarks, and Baroness Scotland gave Response. Also present, to introduce the Prime Minister and give Remarks, was Minister of Foreign Affairs the Hon. Fred Mitchell. In attendance: Former Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Perry Christie; Chief Justice Sir Ian Winder; and Deputy Opposition Leader Shanendon Cartwright.
