The National Training Agency (NTA) Grand Bahama has launched registration for Cohort 19, a 14-week workforce readiness program offering free training to Bahamian youth, 16-26 years.
NTA is partnering with Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute to offer a range of new disciplines such as carpentry, plumbing, masonry and electrical work. The aim is to attract and assist more of the male population.
The program includes four weeks of soft skills and ten weeks of hands-on- training in areas such as HV/AC, welding, auto mechanics, plumbing, electrical and more.
All applicants must be out of high school and unemployed. No registration fee is required.
