Henri still moving Westward over the Western Atlantic.

At 11 am edt, the center of Tropical Storm Henri was located near lattitude 29.5° North and longitude 70.5° West or 490 miles Southeast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.

Henri is moving towards the West near 10 mph. This motion is expected through tonight. A turn towards the Northwest is forecast on Friday, followed by an accelerated towards the North and North-East Saturday and Sunday. On the forecast track, Henri will remain well offshore of the East coast of the United States over the next few days. Maximum sustained winds are near 70 mph with higher gusts.

Little change in strength is expected today, but Henri is forecast to intensify into a Hurricane on Friday with additional strengthening predicted to occur this weekend.
