Minister of State with responsibility for the National Insurance Board, the Hon. Myles Laroda responded to a video posted to social media showing long lines at the National Insurance Board.
Minister Laroda said, “the window was manned for the vast majority of the day. It just so happened that at that particular time with the person who sent out the video we had a situation where one of the ladies went to the bathroom and another went for lunch. And so there person was frustrated and here we are. But there were three windows, actually there are four windows, to deal with these matters but one of them deal with online payments. and so what happened yesterday was unfortunate and I guess there are frustrations from individuals.”
