The Public Hospitals Authority (PHA) wishes to inform the public that it has
activated its established protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of in-
hospital and acute care patients as its highest priority amidst the ongoing
industrial action.
Effective Monday, January 13, 2025, the following adjustments to services have
been implemented:
Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH): All outpatient clinics are closed, except
for the Pulmonary Clinic, which remains open.
Grand Bahama Health Services: The Pearce Plaza Clinic is closed.
Community Clinics in Grand Bahama: ALL community clinics remain open and continue to provide services to the surrounding communities.
The PHA is committed to keeping the public informed of any further updates as the situation evolves.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank the public for their continued understanding and cooperation. Patients requiring urgent or emergency care are encouraged to visit the nearest hospital emergency department.
