Progressive Liberal Party Island Coordinator, Rev. Dr. Keith Russell says the Party’s campaign for the West Grand Bahama and Bimini by-election is gaining traction.
Russell spoke to ZNS News about the campaign saying, “Kingsley Smith is out there meeting the people, doing what he should do and I think he’s going to win this hands down.”
On the campaign’s progress on the island of Bimini Russell said, “Bimini is doing very well, in fact, much more so than we expected. People were excited to see the delegation and some of those persons who are still there now working along with the Bimini people to make sure that the PLP bring this one home.”
Russell says that the Party’s is moving forward in unity after the contentious nomination process. “Little raucous in the beginning but we are healed and healing and I think we’re all together now to move forward as one Party”.
