Officers of the Royal Bahamas Police Force on Grand Bahama conducted walkabouts and road blocks in Eight Mile Rock. Office In Charge of the Eight Mile Rock Division, Chief Superintendent Jeremy Henfield told ZNS News, “the whole idea is heightened Police presence to avoid any criminal elements or anything going on.”

Henfield went on, “the fear of crime is more dangerous than crime itself. And so just the police presence out here show the community that the police are with them.”
