The Princess Court Mentoring Ministries of Ft. Charlotte held its Induction and Presentation Ceremony on Wednesday, September 30th, 2026 at the Franklyn Wilson Graduate Center, University of The Bahamas. With an induction cohort of 10 members, six adult women and four adolescent females, the aim was to induct new members in honor of World Suicide Prevention Month (September).
In attendance at the Induction Ceremony was Mrs. Ann Marie Davis of the Office of the Spouse of the Prime Minister.
In her Official Remarks Mrs. Davis congratulated the ladies for taking the initiative of being their brother’s and sister’s keeper, and being the first line of defense in mental issues and awareness. She also noted The Bahamas is experiencing a dark time with suicides at a now alarming rate and something has to be done about it. The cohort of women underwent a series of training workshops covering counseling in depression, suicide awareness, social work, mental and community counseling, and peer pressure.
