Member of Parliament and Minister for Grand Bahama, the Hon. Ginger Moxey carried out a bulk waste collection exercise in her Pineridge constituency recently.
The clean up in Hudson Estates served as the launch of the Pristine Pineridge Programme. Moxey was present for some of the removal process. She told ZNS News, “what we also are trying to do is to educate and to send out a clarion call that really we have to ensure that we take care of our own surroundings.”
Moxey went further explaining, “we are taking the first step. We know that this is going to involve more than just Team Pineridge. Its going to involve the developers because it is a private subdivision. Its going to involve the Grand Bahama Port Authority and of course the government in ensuring that these communities stay clean.”
