Police are continuing investigations into three homicides that took place on Sunday. In the first incident officers responded to reports of a shooting incident on Faith Avenue south of Carmichael Road. The body of a man was discovered outside a tire repair shop with injuries to the head, consistent with gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced lifeless.

In the second incident, which occurred on Theodore Lane off Tonique Williams-Darling Highway, first responding officers on the scene of a shooting, were directed to a male’s body. Upon inspection, the wounds were found to be consistent with gunshots. EMS were called to the scene and pronounced the body lifeless.

In the third incident, police responded to reports of a stabbing on Cordeaux Avenue and Lincoln Blvd. The victim was taken to hospital via private vehicle where he later succumbed to his injuries.
