At the start of 2024, Bishop Valentino Williams exclaimed that “This is The Year of Abundant Harvest at Life Changers Ministries International!” He went on to say that there were seven areas that an abundant harvest would be reaped for the people of God. The seven-fold H.A.R.V.E.S.T focus for LCMI in 2024 is Home Ownership, Activation, Relationships, Volunteerism, Economic Emancipation, Souls and Training.
Life Changers Ministries International (LCMI) to date has been successful in tapping into all of these areas in order to make a meaningful impact in the lives of many people in this nation. The work of saving souls for Christ recently continued with a series of “Reaping the Harvest Crusades”, the most recent being held at the RM Bailey Park.
From Wednesday, September 25 to Friday, September 27 at 6:30 pm nightly, Life Changers Ministries hosted the third installment of the Reaping the Harvest Crusade. Speakers for the crusade included Minister Tamico Brice on the opening night who gave a stern warning to believers that “When you make decisions based on SIGHT, SELF and STUFF; you are bound to end up in SODOM”, referencing the decision that Lot made that shifted his destiny!
Evangelist Burton Lockhart was the featured speaker on the second night. He spoke on the topic: “The Heart of God that Sees” which came as a charge to believers to see through the eyes of compassion like Jesus did. It was a sobering reminder of the great commission to “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” and Bishop Andrew Brown who closed out with the topic “The Cost Of the Cross”, reminding believers that Jesus paid the ultimate price when his blood was shed for us.
“The purpose of this crusade was to reap souls for the kingdom of God,” said Bishop Williams. “Matthew 9:37-38 says ‘The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest’. This scripture would be the bedrock of why this crusade was necessary.”
In the end, the crusade would be followed by a Water Baptismal Ceremony where 35 persons took part in this symbolic exercise. The ceremony took place at Goodman’s Bay, and it was considered a moving ceremony by all involved. Amongst some of the most transformative experiences, was a family of five, who all chose to be Baptised together, renewing their faith and family bond. The Baptism was conducted by Pastor Alex Davis and Minister Ricardo Davis.
