Sixteen-year-old Analise Simon gave a high-energy performance in Bridgetown, Barbados, as she sang Phil Stubbs’ “Stress” and Sweet Emily’s version of “Bring Back the Good Ole Days” on stage at the recent Richard Stoute Caribbean Youth Showcase, held at the Richard Stoute Amphitheatre in the National Botanical Gardens. The event, held on August 23, 2025, was a part of the Caribbean Festival of the Arts (Carifesta) XV, which runs August 22 to 31. Several fellow members of The Bahamas Delegation and a number of Bahamian students studying in Barbados gave their support with cheers, even some dancing in the passing rain that night. Ms. Simon is also a National Winner for the E. Clement Bethel National Arts Festival and a member of the Government High School “Magic Ivy” Pop Band, led by Yonell Justilien.
