Ann and I are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic passing of a student this morning.
We extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the student’s family, guardians, classmates, teachers and the entire R.M. Bailey High School community during this painful time.
I thank the Minister of Education and his team for standing with the family and guardians as they face this unimaginable loss.
I ask Bahamians across our country to keep this grieving family in their thoughts and prayers. I pray that God grant them strength, comfort and peace in the difficult days ahead.
