Members of the Grand Bahama team that participated in the recently held 2023 Bahamas Games celebrated their performance with a motorcade held on Friday.
Coordinator of the Event Cecil Thompson said the Grand Bahama Sports Council wanted to show team members their appreciation. “The background is that the island of Grand Bahama and the island of Abaco have more to be thankful for more to celebrate than the rest of the country. But this would not have been possible were it not for the generosity of the Grand Bahama Port Authority. Ms. Sarah St. George, the Chairperson Grand Bahama Port Authority, she was the signature sponsor of this event,” he said.
