The Bahamas Red Cross thanks BTC for its longstanding contribution

As The Bahamas Red Cross plans to host its 49 th annual Ball on January 28th, a Platinum reception was held at the Nassau Yacht Club last Thursday, January 12 th , to thank BTC and other businesses that have contributed to ensuring that the event is a success. Accepting the Red Cross’ award on behalf of BTC was BTC’s Deputy Chairman, Valentine Grimes. Several BTC employees were also present to show their support. The 49th Red Cross Ball, held under the theme, “Be Balling, Lights, Camera, Action” will be held at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island. The Ball will feature the Lou Adams Orchestra, The Royal Bahamas Police Force Pop Band, and an array of entertainment and grand giveaways. Ball organizers will also posthumously recognize the late philanthropist Cindy Williams-Rahming as an individual Ball honouree.

BTC has always been a longstanding supporter of The Bahamas Red Cross,
often assisting the organization with many outreach efforts, including its annual Ball. This year
BTC will serve as a Platinum title sponsor of the 49 th annual Red Cross Ball, slated for January
28th. Last Thursday, January 12 th , The Bahamas Red Cross recognized BTC and several other
businesses and individuals for their support of Ball. Accepting the award on behalf of BTC was
the Company’s Deputy Chairman, Valentine Grimes.
