Training session for crisis and suicide intervention

Staff at the Department of Social Services were in a training session for crisis and suicide intervention on Friday, August 13, as a part of the Department’s relaunch of their 24-hour national hotline. The hotline is for those suffering from physical and mental issues.  Dr. Novia Carter-Lookie, chairman of the National Drug Council and Child Protection Council, was on island to conduct the training in the conference room of the Department.
