Ukrainian Ambassador to The Bahamas, His Excellency Sergiy Kyslytsya, presented his credentials to Governor General, His Excellency, the Most Hon. Cornelius Smith this week. While at the ceremony, Ambassador Kyslytsya spoke about the ongoing war that his country is engaged in with Russia. “When many countries who never believed we would survive a week of the invasion and we are now many months in the invasion and we’re not only surviving, we’re also de-occupying the territories that have been occupied temporarily by the aggressor state. Ukrainians are exceptionally resilient people and we are proud to be resilient that’s why we are not waiting for the military defeat of Russia, which is imminent and that’s why I’m here today presenting my credentials.”
