USAID officials pay courtesy call on Office of the Prime Minister’s Disaster Management Unit

Senior officials of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) recently paid a Courtesy Call on the Office of the Prime Minister’s Disaster Management Unit, located at Campbell Maritime Centre, West Bay Street. The Courtesy Call took place Thursday, May 5.  Mr. Carl F. Smith, Permanent Secretary, Office of the Prime Minister’s Disaster Management Unit, welcomed the officials to the Office.

Permanent Secretary Smith was accompanied by Mrs. Isla Deane, Under Secretary, Office of the Prime Minister’s Disaster Management Unit, and Mrs. Gayle Outten-Moncur, Deputy-Director, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).  The USAID team comprised Mr. Tim Callahan, Senior Regional Advisor for Latin America and the Caribbean, and Mr. John Kimbrough, Regional Advisor for Latin America and the Caribbean.
