Servant Leader of the Bahamas Constitution Party and the first female leader of a political party in The Bahamas Sharell Ali McIntosh has become an officially ordained Minister of the Gospel. She was recently ordained in State of Georgia, USA as well as in The Bahamas, expanding her repertoire of national service. Her ordination comes after more than 30 years of work to the church and the nation.
A well-known advocate for righteous governance and servant leadership, Minister McIntosh has recently published her book: ‘How to Reconstruct a Nation – Righteous Principles for National Leadership & Governance’. The first official Ordination Service took place in Albany, Georgia under the leadership of Overseer Apostle DG Taylor and an eight-member Ordination Board on March 27, 2022.
There, Minister McIntosh was licensed and ordained as a Minister, Elder and Servant Leader by the Praise Power Deliverance Fellowship Ministries Inc. (PPDFM). It is a fellowship of Apostolic Churches in the southern United States, based in Georgia and spreading to other states. As a result of her ordination, Minister McIntosh has been asked to serve as the International Director of Recruitment and the Advisor on Global Servant Leadership for the PPDFM (Inc). In addition, she will lead the new ministry, Servant Leadership Ministries International (SLMI). This Ministry is designed to train and encourage Ministers of the Gospel regarding servant leadership characteristics within their
Minister McIntosh then returned to New Providence and was ordained on June 30, 2022 in a Service of Thanksgiving and Consecration. Several local Apostles and Ministers officiated, led by Chief Apostle Stefan Russell, Overseer of the Circle of Deliverance Worldwide Fellowship of Churches and Prophetess Patrice Smith of Kingdom Explosion Ministries International. The service was convened to recognize the international ordination; launch and establish Servant Leadership Ministries International (SLMI) locally; bless her recently published book; and to make the official presentation of her ministerial credentials to the local Bahamian Church. This new phase of her life came about “based on Divine instructions following the 2021 General Elections to have hands laid on her for the work of the ministry in the nation”.
The Feeding The Whole Man Deliverance Ministries and Apostle Janet Archer hosted the event and provided their Sanctuary for the occasion of this auspicious Apostolic launch.
Before presenting the official credentials of the newly ordained Minister, she was robed by Apostle Agnes Glinton and Prophetess Patrice Smith. Minister McIntosh was anointed with oil and hands were laid upon her with prayers by the Apostolic gathering, setting her apart for the work of the Gospel ministry in the nation.
Also participating in the event was Pastor Mario Moxey, Senior Pastor of Bahamas Harvest Church and Vice President of Bahamas Christian Council; Bishop Ivan F. Butler, Senior Pastor of Kemp Road Ministries; Apostle Utah Taylor Rolle, Senior Pastor of New Oasis of Love Kingdom Ministries; Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Personal Ministries Director Pastor Dr. Peter Joseph; Prophet Julian Smith and Pastor Angelino Cooper, who blew the Shophar. Greetings came from Dr. Jacinta Higgs of Civil Society Bahamas; Elder David Knowles of SDA Lay Prayer Ministries; Mr. Dwayne Huyler, Bahamas Constitution Party National Chairman and Apostle Felix Rolle.
Anointed Psalmist Minister Terrance Rodgers and company provided the music. The Plaques was presented to the Mayors of the City of Newnan and the City of Hampton for their generosity and gifts for the Bahamian people during the Hurricane Dorian Relief Drive by the Ali McIntosh Children Charity in September 2019, when the AMCC raised a 20 ft container filled with goods for the people of Abaco and Grand Bahama in the City of Newnan.
Minister McIntosh is the President and CEO of S. Ali McIntosh & Associates Leadership Consultants.
