The Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas (BCB) is hosting a conclave for its employees over three days at the National Training Agency.
BCB General Manager, Clint Watson spoke thwith ZNS News on the sidelines of the event. He said, “this is going to be a banner year for the Broadcasting Corporation. People will see ZNS like they’ve never seen it before. We’re reclaiming our top spot in every aspect of media. We have some great plans on how we’re going to achieve that. What we’re doing we’re giving them the tools and the strategies to achieving it.”
Watson added of the BCB staff, “we want them successful. Every employee’s success means a successful corporation. There’s no successful ZNS if people aren’t succeeding individually.”
Also in attendance at the conclave was BCB Executive Chairman, Picewell Forbes who spoke to the planned expansion of ZNS across the region. He said, “we look forward to going to the Turks and Caicos island really shortly to expand our broadcast efforts and also to the Caribbean especially to Jamaica, Trinidad and also the Republic of Haiti. So in ZNS, new things are happening. Our staff are excited. I’m exciting at what I’m seeing in the Corporation and I want our people to know that we care about them, we had some hiccups with somethings in the past, we understand. But once again we’ve taken the time out to sit with our staff and collaborate and to look at how we can make our broadcast product better.”
The conclave ends on Friday, January 19th.
