NASSAU, The Bahamas — December 22, 2021 –The Bahamas Senate partnered with Bishop Lawrence Rolle’s feeding program on Second Street, Coconut Grove in order to assist the community. Bishop Rolle remarked that it is crucial that we find ways to reach the next generation and get people off the streets. The feeding program aimed to help over 5,000 families and Bishop Rolle commended the senators and organizations that donated. Bishop Rolle also stressed that his feeding program needs more help in order to reach more families. The President of the Senate and Senators from both the government and opposition volunteered at the feeding program this year.
