The Chinese community in The Bahamas celebrated the 74th China Day which was attended by Prime Minister, the Hon. Philip Davis.
Davis addressed the gathering saying, “tonight we gather to commemorate the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. A momentous occasion that marks a significant chapter in the history of a resilient nation.”
The Prime Minister also thanked the Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas, Dai Qingli for her expression of condolences on the passing of the late Hon. Obie Wilchcombe.
