After a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Heart Ball returned this weekend. At the glamourous event, Rector of St. Agnes Anglican Church, Archdeacon Keith Cartwright was honoured with the Golden Heart Award for his humanitarian work in the community.
In response to his award, Archdeacon Cartwright praised the Heart Foundation, “Sir Victor Sassoon Heart Foundation is a worthwhile foundation in The Bahamas for many, many years. When you think of those less fortunate persons who have not been able to gather the necessary funding for their operations particularly on their hearts, young people especially, they have made miracles happen over the many, many years. And so, we’re here and each year we give our support.”
The Heart Foundation was founded in 1961.
