The Bahamas has been selected as a top regional destination by the Caribbean Journal for second time.
Chief Executive Officer at Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board, Joy Jibrilu commented on the accomplishment. She said, “the Ministry of Tourism has always promoted The Bahamas as a sixteen island destination where each island is an individual destination within the framework of The Bahamas and this award says that specifically. So it speaks to the possibilities for our Family Islands. So I know they’re looking and say hmmm if Nassau and Paradise Island has been named as the Caribbean destination for the year what stops Eleuthera or Abaco or Bimini or Exuma. And so I think the game is on for everybody and its great news.”
