A man was shot and killed on Baldwin Avenue on Thursday morning while at work.
Officer in Charge of the Criminal Investigations Department Chief Superintendent Michael Johnson was at the scene of the incident where he briefed the press. He said, “the initial information is that sometime shortly after 10 am this morning the victim, who is an employee at a carwash in this area, he was standing at the mentioned location when he was approached by a lone gunman who opened fire on him shooting him multiple times about the body. He succumbed on the scene.”
A 52 year old man was also stabbed to death in the Chippingham area last weekend. Johnson told reporters police will explore whether the two incidents are connected.
