Bahamas Power and Light (BPL) Chief Operating Officer, Anthony Christie addressed the Exuma Business Outlook event last week.
BPL has entered into agreements with several independent power producers to provide electricity through renewable energy sources and technology.
During his remarks Christie told those gathered to expect change in the way energy is received in eighteen months to two years. He said, “Exuma in particular we can expect by the end of 2026 and the start of first quarter of 2027 to have these projects completed and delivering power to the grid.”
