President of the BPSU Kimsley Ferguson was also on hand at the signing. He said, “we were able to arrive at a happy medium in relation to what has been negotiated for the staff. I do piggy back on what the chair would have indicated in relation to a healthy environment and that is one of the things that we were not able to arrive at a conclusion with in relation to the hazard allowance but we do wish and we are continuing in that regard with those discussions. And so we’re happy to have achieved the salary increases.”

The agreement has a term of three years and provides employees with salary increases and other benefits.
