The Bahamas Telecommunications Company [BTC] has donated $20,000 to the Bahamas Red Cross as their gala ball returns in January 2023.

Alicia Pinder, Director General of Red Cross thanked BTC saying, “we are grateful because it is partnerships like this as well as ongoing contributions. When we call on BTC, we reach out, we are always pleased that they remember us. We are known, Red Cross, for our humanitarian efforts. We cannot do it without community and corporate help. We thank you BTC because you do have an humanitarian heart and we, the things that we do, your time and your effort and your support even your volunteering as assisted us in making our load that much easier.”

Sameer Bhatti, CEO of BTC spoke the corporate citizenship of his company. “BTC is grateful to you for the work that you do whether its during natural disasters or your daily missions. Over the years BTC has not only sponsored previous Red Cross Balls but we’ve also worked closely with the society to offer our assistance to several relief initiatives. We are aware that the ball is the Society’s largest fundraiser. So BTC was fully onboard to lend our support as a platinum sponsor this year because there is always a need for this organization to assist others.”
