While attending a briefing on Tropical Storm Imelda at the Disaster Risk Management Authority Acting Prime Minister, the Hon. Chester Cooper delivered remarks acknowledging the passing of the Late Hon. Vaughn Miller.
Mr. Cooper extended condolences on behalf of the government and led a moment of silence. He also spoke highly of the fallen Parliamentarian saying, “from his early days as a broadcaster his voice carried authority, warmth and clarity. Later as a Pastor and community leader he brought the same spirit of service to the lives of those he touched. In Parliament and as a Cabinet Minister he worked with quiet determination guided always by his convictions.”
The Late Hon. Vaughn Miller was found unresponsive in a vehicle on Sears Hill Road. He was taken to Doctors Hospital where he was pronounced dead at the age of 64.
