Two men lost their lives is separate traffic accidents in the capital on Monday.
At around 2 a.m. a man identified as Kingsley Adderley was riding a motorcycle when he crashed while on Soldier Road. Officer in the Traffic Division, Assistant Superintendent of Police Demetria Capron was on the scene where she provided details of the incident. She said, “a male rider of a motorcycle, a red and white Honda 650 motorcycle was travelling south on Soldier Road when for some unknown reason he lost control of his motorcycle and collided into a lamp pole located on the western side of Soldier Road. He sustained serious injuries which proved fatal on the scene this morning.”
The second traffic incident occurred on Jean Street where a man reportedly suffered a medical emergency that led to him lose control of his vehicle. Officer In Charge of the Traffic Division, Chief Superintendent Sybrina Porter was on this scene. She said, “we can tell you that EMS responded to that scene where they did their preliminary assessment and pronounced the male lifeless. At this time the investigation is in its early stages and as it progresses we’ll be happy to bring you more information.”
Family members identified that male driver as Barry McCartney.
