A man was shot and killed in a double shooting incident that occurred on Sunday morning on Wilson Track.
Police Press Liaison Officer, Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings was on the scene where she gave details of the incident. She said, “it was shortly after 7 am when a male came to collect his 16 year old daughter from a residence here on Wilson Track. He came and collected his daughter to take her to church. As he pulled off from the residence a small silver vehicle pulled along side, two males exited that vehicle opened fire on the truck which resulted in a male who is 35 years of age and his 16 year old daughter being shot.”
While appealing for information the Chief Superintendent warned citizens not to allow blood to be on their hands. “There are different ways to solve conflicts. I’ve said it repeatedly, young men in particularly, it comes to a point now where whatever differences you have innocent people are now becoming involved, you need to stop.”
The second victim in this incident was taken to hospital.
