An amendment to the emergency powers covid-19 Pandemic Risk Management order indicating who will not be required to undergo a RT PCR covid-19 test in order to obtain a travel health visa come April 1st.

The requirement allows for a person ten years or younger; the pilot or crew of a commercial air operator who are required to overnight not more than one night in the Bahamas; a person travelling from any island except Abaco, Eleuthera, Grand Bahama, Harbour Island or New Providence to any other island; anyone travelling between Abaco and one of its cays; also a person travelling between Harbour Island and Eleuthera and its surrounding cays.

In addition the order advises or reminds, anyone who enters the Bahamas or travels inter-island from Abaco, Eleuthera, Grand Bahama, Harbour Island or New Providence on the fifth day of his arrival is required to undergo rapid antigen test and submit the results to the Ministry of Health online via the health travel website.
