A man lost his life in a car accident on Saturday night in the area of St. Vincent Road.
Superintendent Coran Jennings was on the scene where he provided details of the incident to reporters. He said, “EMS and also police was contacted and on arrival at the scene the discovered the body of a lifeless male. Once EMS would have checked they would have confirmed that he was lifeless. Our information is at this time is that this male would have been traveling east on St. Vincent Road in a white Honda Civic where he collided into a wall. He would have left that vehicle on foot and travel some 600 feet away from that vehicle where he collapsed.”
According to police after the victim left his car on foot he was struck by another car that left the scene. “We are right now in the early stages of this investigation. He had apparent injuries to the head. We are right now appealing to the public for any information as we are in the early stages of this investigation and we are in need of information,” Jennings said.
The victim was 54 years old at the time of his dead.
