Former Governor General the Most Hon. Sir Cornelius Smith demitted office on Friday after four years of service.
Smith spoke with ZNS News about his future plans. He said, “obviously I will travel there’s no question about that. I am presently writing a book so I would continue that. But both Lady Smith and I are avid fisherpersons and she always thinks that she’s much better than me and I have to allow her to do that so that…anyway we both enjoy fishing and I will spend a lot of time on the water knowing full well that if I don’t catch a fish that my wife is gonna make sure that we have a meal.”
