Prime Minister, the Hon. Philip Davis led a delegation of government officials to the island of Abaco on Friday where a ceremony was held to commemorate the anniversary of the passage of Hurricane Dorian.
During his remarks Mr. Davis told attendees, “the first of September, 2019 is a day that will be forever etched in our hearts. Four years removed from that terrible day we still more the family, friends and colleagues who are no longer with us. I stand with you in honouring and preserving their legacies. The memory of their bravery, love and sacrifice will live on through us.”
Also delivering remarks at the ceremony were the Members of Parliament for North and South and Central Abaco.
