Former Parliamentarian, Leslie Miller is expressing his concerns about crime in the country as a spate of murders have occurred in the capital since January 1st.
Miller spoke to ZNS News on the sidelines of the Progressive Liberal Party’s Majority Rule Day ceremony. He said, “the system is inept. The system is broken. But why is it that as a people we prefer to kill each other rather than talk to each other. It’s what in your heart you know. A man has to think wrong before he does wrong. Fellas don’t just wake up and go kill somebody, you know.”
The former Parliamentarian added, “we need to give our people, show our young people a future. Show them a better future, they don’t have to be killing each other. We need to implement some plans here to assist them to be better citizens, to be better people to themselves and by extension to their families.”
