Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation the Hon. Chester Cooper and Minister for Grand Bahama the Hon. Ginger Moxey participated in the official groundbreaking for AML Foods Limited’s new store at the former Solomon’s location on Queen’s Highway in Freeport on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
The investment is expected to create 20 new jobs, adding to the 265 employees across AML stores on Grand Bahama and contributing to Grand Bahama’s recovery.
AML CEO Gavin Watchorn guided the ceremony with AML executives. Also present were Grand Bahama Port Authority Chairman Sarah St. George, and Port Authority President, Ian Rolle.
