Long Bay School students were the first to perform in the 2025 E. Clement Bethel National Arts Festival Abaco Adjudications, on May 5, 2025, when the event visited the school in Dundas Town. Younger students — even of grade two — showed off their singing skills, while a number of older students played the keyboard, sang, danced and beat Junkanoo drums. Among those present was Abaco Family Island Activity Coordinator for the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture Candi Stubbs-Dawkins.
