A woman lost her life in a traffic accident on Malcolm Road West early on Sunday morning.
Superintendent Kiran Jennings of the Royal Bahamas Police Force Traffic Division was on the scene where he provided details of the incident to reporters. He said, “on arrival at the scene officers discovered two extensively damaged vehicles, one a white Acura ILX, the other a Mazda Demio. Our information at this time is that the white Acura ILX was traveling east on Malcolm Road and the gray Mazda Demio was traveling west when a collision occurred. EMS was also dispatched and on arrival at the scene they would have treated all victims. The driver of the gray Demio, she succumbed to her injuries.”
Jennings appealed to motorists to be careful and cognizant of their surroundings. “If you are out having fun make sure you have a designated driver.”
