Police say the first incident unfolded around nine o’clock Thursday night, on Abola Alley in Bain Town resulting in ten-year-old boy being gunned down inside his home.
Meantime, four other people who live at that residence were also injured, including an adult male and three boys, who are believed to be between seven and ten years of age.
The victims are now in hospital in serious, but stable condition, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Solomon Cash explained.
About an hour later in the Fox Hill area, there was another incident. Police Press Liaison Officer, ASP Audley Peters says they received reports of a shooting incident on Bagel Lane off Cox Hill. A man was standing in his residence when a lone gunman approached and shot him, before making good his escape
The police are seeking the public’s help in catching the persons responsible for these crimes.
