Minister of Grand Bahama, the Hon. Ginger Moxey urged entertainers on the island of Grand Bahama to be ready for a resurgence of the orange economy.
In a sit down interview with ZNS News Moxey said, “there’s so much that is going to be happening for our people. Those in the creative industry and the orange economy. You know the musicians, the artists, the singers, the DJs. You have to prepare yourself because we can see it, it’s right here, I know it’s here but you have to ready yourself. You have to prepare yourself, start to get your equipment together.”
The Minister believes that Grand Bahamians will return to the island to be apart of the orange economy. “Grand Bahama is going to be the place where things happen. Like I said, I think that its been a long time coming. We’ve been through a lot but it’s our time and we need to be able to take advantage of it.”
