Nassau, The Bahamas, October 21, 2021: Small Business month is in high gear at BTC. For the last several years, BTC has used the month of October to give back to the Small Business owners by recognizing the role they play in our economy. All month long, BTC

Commenting on Small Business month, BTC CEO Andre Foster said, “BTC has not let the global pandemic slow us down, and in fact we’ve raised the bar.

Our key objective of Small Business Month is to recognize and bring awareness to the small business owners. We’re proud to partner with our Flow Business colleagues in Trinidad, Barbados and Jamaica to extend our “InKnowVation Small Business Fridays” across the markets where C&W Communications operates. This enables all small business owners to benefit from the knowledge and advice provided by our panel of experts giving them the knowledge they need to create opportunities for their businesses.”

The first two sessions held in Barbados and Trinidad respectively, featured Alison Hindsand Tricia Coosal. This week, attendees will hear from Jamaican recording artist, songwriter, TV star and entrepreneur, Spice. The final week of the conference series will be hosted locally and will feature storyteller, coach, motivational speaker and attorney Natasha Mayne known as “The Vogue Attorney”. Each week, Small Business customers and entrepreneurs will also benefit from four breakout sessions on topics including “Using digital payments to grow your business”, “Expanding your reach through an online marketplace”, “Using your website, social media and content to indira.collie@btcbahamas.com – 302-7573 – https://www.btcbahamas.com/showcase your business” and “Marketing on a Dime:Creating cost effective marketing campaigns”.

Customers like Jet Locker are enjoying the BTC’s bundled services just for small businesses. Founder, Nikoan Johnson said, “As a shipping company we responded to a critical need, removing the pain points from the shipping process. Jet Locker cannot exist without reliable internet and it was a no brainer for us to go with BTC. We were very interested in fiber and BTC provided so much more than the competitor. When we received the service, we were even more surprised at how stable, and fast it was. We really couldn’t ask for more.”

“We’re continuing to elevate so that we can better meet and exceed the needs of our Small Business customers to allow them to better serve their own customers. It is important that we identify with and understand the needs of our Small Business customers, because ultimately their success is interwoven with our success as a business,” said Foster. BTC is also working to expand its reach and upgrade services for a number of small business customers in New Providence and throughout the Family Islands.
