On Thursday, June 25, 2026, the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS), in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage, hosted its Annual Summer Job Programme Orientation at the Foster B. Pestaina Centre.
Young adults between the ages of 15 and 25 will be placed in organizations aligned with career fields they are passionate about from July 6 to July 31, 2026. Throughout the programme, participants will gain valuable hands-on experience, develop new skills and explore career opportunities.
As part of this year’s summer initiatives, MOYS, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage will host its Second Annual Junkanoo Summer Camp beginning July 6, 2026.
The programme will conclude with a showcase where participants will present and perform what they have learned and accomplished during their time in the programme.
