The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Chairman of Progressive Liberal Party, the Hon. Fred Mitchell addressed the upcoming election for National Chairman to be held at the Party’s national convention in the House Of Assembly.

Mitchell told Parliamentarians, “quoting Mark Twain who said ‘reports of my death are greatly exaggerated and Shakespeare said in Julius Caesar, ‘what private griefs we have, alas, I know not. But they are wise and honourable. And will no doubt with reasons answer you.’ So he also says, Mark Anthony said later, ‘let’s let the dogs at war.'”

Mitchell has been challenged for the position of National Chairman by current National Deputy Chair, Robyn Lynes and former Parliamentarian and Cabinet Minister, Shane Gibson.
